ARBOFLEX® PU PRIMER – 5kg

Solvent-based polyurethane primer for ARBOFLEX PU systems.

ARBOFLEX® PU PRIMER is a single-component, solvent-based polyurethane resin designed to improve adhesion prior to the application of ARBOFLEX PU liquid waterproofing.

Primarily used on porous substrates such as concrete and cement, it prepares the surface to receive the reinforced ARBOFLEX PU membrane system.

Supplied in 5kg tins.

• Cementitious substrates
• Mortar and screeds
• Plywood (where required)
• Refurbishment and repair areas

It is specifically formulated to increase bonding and improve surface condition before ARBOFLEX PU application

Why It’s Required

Porous substrates can absorb resin unevenly and reduce bond strength.

Adhesion to concrete: >2 N/mm² (MPa).

Application Overview

• Substrate must be clean, dry and sound.
• Maximum substrate moisture: 5%.
• Apply by roller or brush.
• Consumption: 100–200 g/m² substrate dependant.
• Tack free: approx. 60 minutes at 23°C.
• Recoat window: 3–24 hours.

Allow primer to dry fully before applying ARBOFLEX PU membrane.

Do not apply to damp or water-exuding surfaces.
