ClassicBond EPDM Rubber Roofing Kit for Home Extensions with Flat Roofs

This ClassicBond EPDM kit is designed for:

House extensions with flat roofs

• Roofs where: One long edge runs into a gutter & the opposite long edge joins a house wall.
• Timber roof decks only (OSB3 or plywood).
• It is not suitable for laying over existing felt or GRP roofs.

The 1.2mm membrane supplied is ideal for domestic flat roofs and extensions.

The EPDM membrane supplied is the exact size stated in the kit.

You must allow extra material for dressing the membrane up edges and into trims.

For house extension roofs:

• Add 300mm to the length
• Add 300mm to the width
• Example:

If your roof measures 3.5m × 5.0m, you should select a minimum kit size of 3.8m × 5.3m.

Ordering too small a kit can leave you short of membrane at the edges.

Each ClassicBond EPDM Extension Roof Kit includes:

• 1.2mm ClassicBond EPDM membrane (cut to your selected size)
• Water-based adhesive (for the main roof area)
• Contact adhesive (for perimeters and upstands)
• Sure Edge kerb trim (2 short edges)
• Sure Edge gutter drip trim (long edge)
• Metal wall trim for the house wall (long edge)
• Black mastic for wall trim

External corner patches

• ClassicBond EPDM primer (for corner patches)
• Sure Edge external kerb edge corners
• DIY tool kit (rollers, scissors, mini roller / brush)
• All pins, clips and fixings required for trims

Everything needed for a complete installation is supplied.

• Installed over a new timber deck only (OSB3 or plywood)
• Membrane is bonded using the supplied adhesives
• No heat, flames or specialist equipment required
• Roof is installed as one continuous EPDM sheet
