Preformed GRP external corner for neat, fast kerb & drip joins
Preformed GRP external corner for neat, fast kerb & drip joins
A C1 Fibreglass External Corner is a hot-pressed, preformed GRP corner used instead of cutting and mitring trims on site. It creates tidy 90° external corners for kerb-to-kerb, kerb-to-drip and drip-to-drip joins - faster to fit and more consistent-looking than site-formed corners.
This ready-moulded GRP corner saves time on detail work and delivers a professional finish. Designed for roofing contractors and competent trades, it speeds up perimeter detailing while reducing the risk of uneven joins and poor appearance.
What It's Used For ▸
- Forming external 90° corners between kerb and drip trims
- Kerb-to-kerb, kerb-to-drip and drip-to-drip junctions
- Quick, repeatable corner detailing on GRP corners
- Replacement of on-site cutting and mitring for a uniform finish
Not a substitute for trims - used alongside A200 / B260 style drip & raised-edge profiles.
Why It Matters ▸
Cutting and mitring GRP trims on site is slow and can look untidy or inconsistent. Preformed C1 corners remove that variable - they give a consistent profile, reduce labour on detail joins and lower the chance of poor joint presentation that shows after top coating.
Installation Overview ▸
- Position corner and mechanically fix (nail/screw) at each end and centre.
- Run a thin bead of PU trim adhesive along the joint and bed the trim into place.
- Bandage the trim-corner joint with taping mat and wet out with resin.
- Finish with tissue for a smooth edge; allow cure.
- Top coat the joint area to match surrounding trims.
Important: ensure surfaces are clean and dry; follow trim and system guidance for fixing centres and sealant choice.

Roofer’s Perspective ▸
Preformed corners save time and tidy up the job. Fit, seal, tape and tissue - far quicker than cutting and mitring on site, and the finished corner looks consistent every time.
