FG35 Primer – The Specified Primer for RESITRIX® & ALUTRIX® Systems

FG35 Primer is a system-specific, solvent-based surface primer developed exclusively for use with RESITRIX® self-adhesive EPDM waterproofing membranes and ALUTRIX® vapour barrier.
It is not a general-purpose primer and should only be used as part of the RESITRIX® / ALUTRIX® system.

When installing RESITRIX® or ALUTRIX®, FG35 is the correct and specified primer. Alternative primers are not designed, tested, or approved to deliver the same adhesion performance with these membranes and should not be used as substitutes.

Product Overview

FG35 is a ready-to-use, quick-drying solvent primer based on synthetic rubber and specialist resins. It is used to prime the substrate prior to the installation of RESITRIX® self-adhesive EPDM membranes and ALUTRIX® vapour barrier membranes on a wide range of approved substrates.

• Application rate: approx. 250g per m²
• Typical drying time: 35 minutes (subject to weather conditions)

Application Guidance

• Apply evenly using a sheep skin roller
• Allow to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes, depending on conditions
• The primer must be touch dry before membrane installation (it might be slightly tacky)
