Polyurethane Adhesive for Bonding GRP Edge Trims
This PU sealant (Sikaflex 300ml) is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive used for bonding GRP edge trims in flat roofing systems.
It provides a strong, flexible bond between GRP trims and timber battens/timber decks, and is also used for joining trims together at perimeter edges.
Designed for roofing applications where movement, weather exposure and long-term durability are critical.

Suitable for use with GRP and liquid applied roofing systems.

GRP trims are mechanically fixed, but adhesive bonding improves:

- Watertight detailing at trim overlaps
A flexible PU adhesive accommodates minor movement without cracking or debonding.

Application Overview ▸
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and dust-free.
- Apply using a standard skeleton gun.
- Typical coverage: approx. 9 linear metres at an 8mm bead.
- Remove masking tape within 10 minutes if used.
Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE or bituminous surfaces.
Avoid use in continuously submerged conditions.
