Additive for thickening ARBOFLEX PU for vertical surfaces.
ARBOFLEX® PU Thickener is a liquid additive used to make ARBOFLEX PU Liquid Waterproofing thicker when working on upstands, walls and sloped areas.
When mixed into ARBOFLEX PU, it gives the membrane more body so it stays in place and doesn’t run before it cures.
Supplied in 1 litre tins.
When To Use It ▸
- Parapet walls
- Upstands
- Vertical details
- Steep or sloped areas
It is designed specifically for use with ARBOFLEX PU membrane.
Why It’s Needed ▸
ARBOFLEX PU is normally self-levelling. On vertical surfaces, this can cause sagging.
Adding the thickener:
- Makes the membrane easier to control
- Reduces sagging
- Helps achieve even coverage on upstands
It allows you to build up the correct thickness without the material running.
Mixing Instructions ▸
- Add directly into the ARBOFLEX PU tin.
- Maximum amount: 800ml per 20kg of ARBOFLEX PU.
- Mix thoroughly until fully blended.
- Adjust quantity depending on site conditions.
If temperatures are below 5°C, warm the product slightly before mixing.
