Polyurethane sealant for substrate preparation and trim fixing in Arboflex systems.
ARBOFLEX® PU Sealant is a one-part polyurethane mastic used as part of the Arboflex PU waterproofing system.
It is primarily used to fill cracks, gaps and surface defects prior to membrane application, and can also be used alongside mechanical fixings to bed and secure Arboflex trims.
Supplied in 300ml cartridges for use with a standard caulking gun.
Where It’s Used ▸
- Filling cracks and defects in existing substrates
- Sealing gaps prior to applying ARBOFLEX PU membrane
- Bedding Arboflex trims in conjunction with fixings
- Sealing timber deck board joints where required
Used during substrate preparation before liquid membrane application.
Why It’s Important ▸
Liquid membranes follow the profile beneath them. Unrepaired cracks or open joints can affect long-term performance.
ARBOFLEX PU Sealant cures to form a tough but flexible joint material, helping stabilise and prepare the substrate before waterproofing.
It offers:
- Good adhesion to concrete, brickwork and metals
- Movement capability up to 35% in butt joints
- Service life of 15+ years
Not recommended for use against natural stone.
Application Overview ▸
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and sound.
- Apply using a cartridge gun.
- Suitable joint width: 6–25mm (single application).
- Allow to cure before applying ARBOFLEX PU membrane.
