Chopped Strand Mat for GRP Roofing Systems
GRP Fibreglass Matting (CSM) is the reinforcing layer used within traditional fibreglass roofing systems. When combined with polyester resin, it forms the structural laminate that gives a GRP roof its strength and durability.
Available in 450gsm and 600gsm weights, sold per square metre.
Suitable for use within systems such as GRP Roof 1010, Pro GRP and other standard GRP roofing applications.

The mat is saturated with catalysed resin, which breaks down the binder and allows the fibres to bond together, forming a solid, glass-like membrane once cured.

Installation Overview ▸
- Cut mat to size allowing minimum 50mm overlaps.
- Apply catalysed resin to the substrate.
- Lay mat into wet resin.
- Fully consolidate using a paddle roller until evenly saturated.
- Apply extra catalysed resin on top where required.
- Ensure no dry fibres remain before curing.
