Overview

I’ve used a lot of EPDM systems over the years, and Resitrix SKW Full Bond is one I trust on demanding jobs where long term performance matters. It’s a premium, glass-fibre reinforced EPDM membrane with a self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen backing, designed for fast, fully bonded installation without the need for open flames.

Manufactured in Germany by Carlisle CCM, this membrane combines the longevity of EPDM with the speed and safety of a cold-applied system, making it ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects.

Why Choose Resitrix SKW Full Bond? ▸

Unlike standard EPDM sheets, Resitrix SKW is reinforced, meaning it doesn’t shrink, wrinkle or move over time. That added stability makes it particularly well suited to larger roof areas, balconies and roofs that will later be finished with tiles, slabs or decking.

The membrane is also fully root resistant, which is why it’s commonly specified for green and living roofs.

Because it’s supplied in rolls rather than large single sheets, it’s far easier to transport onto the roof, especially on refurb jobs or sites with restricted access.

If installing over a substrate that may contain moisture, or directly onto new TR27 insulation boards, Resitrix SKP partial bond may be required.

Resitrix SKW Full Bond is installed as a fully bonded system. All substrates must be primed with FG35 primer prior to installation.

All laps are heat welded, melting the bitumen backing to form a permanent watertight seal
No mechanical fixings required, reducing labour time and costs
