uPVC Kerb Edge Trim for EPDM Rubber Roofing
Sure Edge Kerb Trim is a purpose-designed uPVC edge trim used to finish flat roof edges where a gutter drip trim is not installed.
Featuring a built-in upstand, it prevents water running off the sides of the roof and directs it towards the gutter edge - improving drainage and overall roof performance.
Designed to work alongside Sure Edge Drip Trim, it creates a clean, professional perimeter detail on EPDM and rubber roofing systems.
Where It’s Used ▸
- Side edges of flat roofs
- Sheds, garden rooms and garages
- Extensions and small flat roof projects
Installed on non-drainage edges to prevent lateral water run-off and guide water towards the gutter edge.
Why Use Kerb Trim ▸
Kerb trim replaces the need for a traditional timber upstand, providing a faster and more reliable edge detail.
- Pre-formed uPVC upstand
- Prevents water running off roof edges
- Compression seal secures membrane edge
- No exposed fixings through the membrane
- Cleaner, more consistent finish
This simplifies installation while improving long-term durability and appearance.
Compatibility ▸
- EPDM rubber roofing membranes
- ClassicBond EPDM systems
- Fleece-backed EPDM
- Fully adhered flat roof systems
Designed to securely finish membrane edges while maintaining a watertight seal.
Installation Overview ▸
- Install EPDM membrane with minimum 100mm overhang
- Position trim so compression seal engages membrane
- Fix through pre-drilled holes using supplied PolyTop pins
- Allow approx. 25mm expansion gap between lengths
- Install joining clips and corners where required
Suitable for both professional installers and competent DIY users.
