The 1.2mm membrane is perfectly suited for:

It provides robust residential-grade protection while remaining easy to handle and install.
If installing decking, a green roof, or if additional puncture resistance is required (for example beneath overhanging trees), we recommend upgrading to the 1.5mm ClassicBond EPDM membrane.
Fully Adhered, Flame-Free Installation ▸
ClassicBond EPDM is installed as a fully adhered system using:
- Water-Based Deck Adhesive for the main roof area
- 6″ strip of contact adhesive around the perimeter
- Primer and flashing tape where required
No heat or flames are required, making it safer and easier to install than traditional felt systems.
On roofs exceeding 100m², spray contact adhesive should be used across the full deck area and russ strip should be used around the full perimeter.
Fewer Seams, Lower Risk ▸
ClassicBond membranes are available in large sheet sizes (up to 15m wide and 30.5m long), allowing most residential roofs to be installed in a single piece.

ClassicBond EPDM roofing systems can achieve BROOF(t4) external fire performance when installed as part of a tested roof build-up.
