Simulated lead flashing for GRP wall abutments.
The C100 GRP Wall Flashing Trim is a pre-formed simulated lead flashing designed to replace traditional lead at flat roof to wall junctions.
Installed above/on top of a D260 Wall Fillet Trim, the C100 provides the weathering detail at masonry abutments and completes the GRP wall upstand system.
Compatible with GRP roofing systems including GRPROOF 1010 and Flexitec.
Why It’s Used ▸
Traditional lead flashing:
- Requires dressing
- Is prone to theft
- Can stain brickwork
- Adds cost and labour
The C100:
- Provides a clean, consistent finish
- Replicates the appearance of lead
- Integrates directly with GRP systems
- Eliminates the need for lead
It forms part of the correct GRP wall abutment detail when paired with a D260 fillet.
Installation Notes ▸
- Cut a chase (typically 25mm deep) into the mortar joint.
- Apply PU trim adhesive to the back of the trim.
- Insert the return leg of the flashing into the chase.
- Push back of trim firmly against top section of the D260 wall fillet trim.
- Seal the chase joint with appropriate external sealant.
- Do not mechanically fix through brickwork face.
The flashing should allow for natural building movement.
